It was a great pleasure for the K-LOOPS Team to meet for the first time the partners with whom we will collaborate in OPeraTIC.
The meeting was held in Vigo, Spain, on April 19th and 20th, at AIMEN Centro Tecnológico headquarter. During these days, we discussed in details about performance constraints to be met, hardware equipment to design and software applications to develop along the future phases of the project.
From a generic point of view, the OPeraTIC European project will be working to deliver an innovative product which utilises ultra-short-pulsed lasers to increase the capacity for industrial product development in the areas of household products, aerospace, and car manufacturing. In particular, we will work on the development of a innovative controller software which enables ultra-high work rates for micromachining of large envelopes.
The meeting days were a great opportunity to interface with different realities and share ideas and strategies to be implemented in the coming months.
